Artista en Arte Santander 2019 / Artist in Arte Santander 2019:

MANU MUNIATEGIANDIKOETXEA with the proyect The labour of time

MANU MUNIATEGIANDIKOETXEA (Bergara, 1966). Muniategiandikoetxea’s pieces have the sought after appearance of works in process, those that are unfinished, and almost a prototype. The materials used in his execution, the virtual absence of color, without any manipulation to the finishes, reinforce that sense and accentuates the aspect of constructive elements in most of them.

The artist says about the works of this project: It is like if I had gone down to the basement of my studio and removing the dust I would have found them, as if they had always been there, but I had not seen them. And finally they would tell me the way to go in the future.
